iPhone HD To Launch this Summer

While everyone is excited about the Sprint Evo 4G, Apple has finally decided to enter the arena with its newest creation, iPhone 4G. There are rumors circulating all over the internet about the specs of the future iPhone 4G or what they call it, iPhone HD.

Wall Street Journal reports that Apple is currently developing a new iPhone 4G which will be announced this summer. The most surprising part of the story is that Apple will be releasing the phone via Verizon Wireless and not AT&T.

Right after Geohotz published the Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, here comes another Userland Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone Firmware 3.1.3 by another iPhone Hacker

This Jailbreak, developed and demonstrated by Comex, targets a bug in MobileSafari on iPhone 3.1.3 and makes use of the exploit. This way, users would be able to Jailbreak their device by simply pointing to a website instead of loading an exploit to the kernel, hence the Userland terminology

Google to Integrate Adobe Flash Into Chrome Browser

For quite some time we have been listening to the news regarding the relationship between Apple and Adobe. But what brings our interest to this story again is the new developing relationship of Google and Adobe. According to a close source, Google was planning to introduce the Flash Player in Google Chrome Browser as well as the Google Chrome Operating System. Today, we are proud to say, that the companies have announced confirmed bundling with each other.

Users who download Google’s Chrome browser will also receive the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. Separate installation is deleted and users would from now on receive updates related to Flash from the auto-update mechanism present in the browser.

Finally! the much-awaited release of iTunes, iTunes 9.1, is out and is now available for download at the Apple website

There are a couple of new features in this version of iTunes, the most-special of all having support to sync the iPad. Apart from this, there is a Books section that is set to replace the Audiobooks section in the iTunes Store. More features as follows:

  • ‘Audiobooks’ section will now be ‘Books’ and contain all Book content: audio, eBook, etc. compatible with the given device (iPod, iPhone, iPad).

Yahoo Mail Gets The Facebook Status Update Option

Download New Microsoft Messenger for Mac 8 beta

Microsoft has announced the availability of Microsoft Messenger 8 for Mac which comes with many new features and bug fixes that were present in the previous version. The new features in Microsoft Messenger Beta 8 build 08.00.00.100305 includes Audio/Video feature for Windows Live users. This means they can have audio/video conversations with other mac and windows users.

The release notes do mention some issues that are in the new beta. They include display pictures do not display when you are talking to other users, you cannot send files to your contacts, some emoticons do not display and you cannot make Audio/Video calls on some network configurations.

Here it is! the one thing that Windows users have been waiting for so long. The Windows Live Essentials 4 has been leaked on the web.

Unfortunately! this build is only limited to certain beta testers so all the different applications can’t be used. However, a patch has been created to allow users to use the newWindows Live Messenger in Wave 4.

Features include: different views in Messenger (social and expanded contacts). This is an early release and the final version may have more features. Follow the link to the full installer and the Messenger patch to get this up and running.
